Situated in the heart of the Kingdom of the Zulu with its rich heritage and untamed natural beauty, the lodge is an exciting holiday destination which offers a perfect luxury getaway in the heart of nature. Built in 2010, this resort comprises 60 bedrooms including 36 classic standard bedrooms, 21 family loft bedrooms and 3 deluxe suites. The rooms offer unsurpassed comfort and luxury with breathtaking views overlooking the picture-perfect Lake Jozini. Facilities on offer to guests at the main lodge of this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a cloakroom and a games room. Younger guests can let off steam in the children's playground and guests can enjoy an array of amenities including a top class restaurant, a private lounge bar and conference and wedding facilities. They also have Internet access at their disposal and can take advantage of the room and laundry services. Parking is available for those arriving by car.

All rooms at the lodge come with a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub and a hairdryer. They offer a king-size bed and are equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a safe and a minibar/fridge which is stocked on request. Furthermore, tea and coffee making facilities and individually regulated air conditioning and heating are provided in all accommodation as standard. All units also feature either a balcony or a terrace. The well appointed family lofts have an upstairs bedroom with twin beds to accommodate the family within the same bedroom.

The resort features 2 swimming pools including an outdoor pool and a children's swimming area. Guests can relax at the poolside snack bar or on the sun terrace with its sun loungers. Sports enthusiasts may enjoy a work-out in the gym and it is also possible to relax in the sauna or steam room or with a massage or spa treatment. Guests can try canoeing (charges apply) and play pool/snooker and there is an entertainment programme for children. Lake Jozini in the Pongola Game Reserve is the most southern lake where tiger fish are endemic. Guests can enjoy the beauty of the lake on the sunset cruiser which ensures an experience of the beauty of this wilderness. Sun loungers are available on the rocky beach.

The hotel restaurant is a stand-alone establishment and the extensive menu is only matched by the view. Guests are spoilt for choice with all produce obtained locally. Speciality dishes include the tiger fish soup and the local bream, which is prepared to perfection. An outdoor boma dinner is an amazing experience for groups.
